  • Partnered with Grosvenor and CSI Properties Ltd. in the acquisition of a residential property development at Jardine’s Lookout, Hong Kong
  •  Acquired an adjacent site of Empire Hotel Causeway Bay for hotel development.  Empire Prestige commenced operation in 2016.
  • Acquired an adjacent site of Empire Hotel Kowloon for hotel development

  • Collaborated with CSI Properties Ltd.  on an up-market residential development project in Shanghai

  • Acquired a new development project in Macau

  • Announced the launch of The Westminster Terrace

  • Acquired a waterfront residential development in Beijing
  • Collaborated with Grosvenor in developing a luxury residential development in Hong Kong – The Westminster Terrace

2007

  • Redeveloped an office building in Causeway Bay into a hotel. Empire Hotel Causeway Bay commenced operation in 2009

2004

  • Grosvenor Place won the MIPIM award, the first Asian residential development to receive this honour
  • Established a joint venture office with Grosvenor in Shanghai

2002

  • Invested in a mixed use residential development project in Shenzhen, PRC

2001

  •  Empire Hotel Kowloon commenced operation in Tsim Sha Tsui

2000

  • Established Asia Standard Hotel Group Ltd. as a subsidiary to oversee hotel operations and listed it on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (Code 292)
  • Formed a joint venture with Grosvenor and Ayala (Phils) to develop a luxury residential building, “Grosvenor Place” in Repulse Bay, Hong Kong

1999

  • Entered a strategic partnership with the Grosvenor Group, a U.K. based international property consortium headed by the Duke of Westminster

  • Became a constituent stock on the Hang Seng Mid-Cap 50 and Hang Seng 100 indices

  • Acquired the Landmark Hotel in Vancouver, Canada

  • Invested in a development project in Beijing
  • Started hotel business. First Empire Hong Kong Hotel commenced operation in Wanchai, Hong Kong.
